Hey! It's my one-year Substack anniversary!
It was one year ago today that I first posted on Substack. I didn’t know what to expect. My friend Christine had turned me on to the site suggesting it would be a great place for me to share my Top Ten Memoir. Discovering it could also be a site for me to post my film reviews I immediately became hooked. Substack has been a major highlight and turning point for me as I head toward retirement. I’ve found it a great place to express myself and share my interests in all things film, music, TV, and memoir related.
However, one of the great unexpected joys has been the community of writers who have now become friends. They influence, inspire, and support me in ways I never could have imagined a year ago.
