Terrific, sir, as always! He's terrific and his music always brings a smile to my face. When I think of just good, entertaining, toe-tapping '90s alternative rock, he's always near the top of my list.

Your deep admiration for Matthew Sweet is evident in every anecdote and reflection you share. I particularly enjoyed the moment you recounted meeting him at Tower Records and his reaction to your Top Ten lists—“That’s cool!” Such moments highlight the connection between fan and artist. I wish Matthew a speedy recovery, and thank you for sharing these memories so vividly!

I know strokes have a wide range of types and severities, but I was heartened when fellow rocker Scott McCoughey (REM, Young Fresh Fellows, so many more) recovered from his serious stroke within a few months and even wrote an album about the experience. So I am really hoping that the same goes for Matthew. I firmly believe that being a musician Really helps when it comes to recovering from injuries such as this.
