My life is, as you know, extremely urban. My main contact with nature is a stroll in London’s glorious parks on lunch breaks, and holidays abroad. In neither of these cases will you see me doing anything other than relaxing from frantic keyboard tapping 🤣 All this to say, it’s so cool to see stuff like this, working the land and being in “real” contact with nature, as it’s so remote and so far removed from my daily life. Well done!
As you attempt to eradicate buckthorn, I dig out knapweed one annoying plant at a time. Since I'm landscaping former ranch land, I don't have any mature trees (yet) so ticks aren't an issue during gardening, only when hiking. Mosquitos are problematic at dusk only... but let's not talk about the interior of Alaska!
