History repeating itself, but worse because it’s on a world stage with access to tons of misleading sources leading to misinformed people thinking watching 30 second clips tells them all they need to know and then using their access to social platforms to speak and spout mistruths to the masses/legions of fans. This would be a neat double feature with Steven Spielberg's "Munich", which also deals with these events.
ABC sports anchor Jim McKay received an Emmy for his on the air role in these events, which is extremely rare for a sports broadcaster.
