Every time I have been to San Francisco, there are always people at 710 Ashbury (the Grateful Dead's house) standing or sitting on the steps or posing in front. I often wonder if the owner grows tired of it. Then again, if you buy a house like that or the ones in your post, you gotta expect it. It's like buying a house next to a school. You wouldn't do it if you were annoyed by the noise or kids.
Hey Dan, thanks for writing about this... you would think I would have heard about it, but no, first time actually!! Super pumped to check it out. I'm supposed to make a pilgrimage next year to Oregon to visit The Goonies house for the anniversary! It's always been on my mind to do a Los Angeles tour for some of the famous film locations, but waiting for the kiddos to all get a little older before I organize that venture! Cheers!!
I'll have to check this one out!

Good points! I wonder if new owners aren’t told about the history of the house or don’t do the research they should.

Oh, you'll love the section about the Goonies's house! It is VERY interesting! Definitely worth a visit.
