What did you think of “Skywalkers, a love story”? I thought it was spectacular on so many levels. Heard the director interviewed on a podcast. Fascinating how he navigated ethical, physical, legal and narrative challenges.
Even though both films are quite different, I find myself seeking out stories that provide an endorphin rush. And this story fits the bill.
“Mister Popper’s Penguins was my favorite book. I wanted a pet Penguin in the worst possible way, but we lived on the 10th floor so I had to settle for crafting a homemade Slip ‘n Slide with my cousin from Dayton (in my carpeted bedroom while the babysitter was watching TV in the den). This film sounds wonderful.
